A red cross tells you that you are missing some essential files to play the game. Thats mostly the mapfile.You can download the map directly in your multiplayer battleroom using springdownloader or you visit the download section of this site. Make sure you place the map into your Spring\maps folder and refresh your maplist in the multiplayer battleroom.
